Vetank

VETANK (Vet - Tank) is a program that provides a network of all-terrain chairs available to borrow for free by qualified veterans enabling independent participation in outdoor and adventure recreation. This program has also benefitted veterans in need of simple mobility assistance like attending a gravesite burial, enjoying a Veteran's Day activity on a hillside, and getting around local outdoor events that span large areas.

VETANK exists to meet a need for those veterans that are unable to yet experience the outdoors and adventure recreation independently. The all-terrain chairs have not been available to rent or borrow for an outdoor weekend trip.

VETANK was formed to provide a means for those with mobility issues to get back outside and enjoy themselves with minimal to no assistance. With a national network of chairs, veterans will able to borrow a chair for free close to their destination which eases the physical challenges of travelling for outdoor recreation.
