The first Illinois Women Veterans' Conference was held on June 2-4, 2023 at the Hyatt Oakbrook, 2815 Jorie Blvd, Oakbrook IL. The Women Veterans' Conference, Sisterhood of Service in partnership with AllenForce.
Sixty five women who served in the military experienced: 9 Educational Sessions including Lessons for Life Balance, Generations of Women in the Military, Identity of a Female Veteran, The Science and Power of Yoga, Confidence/Solar Plexus Energy, Lessons in Leadership, SAVE Training, Claim ALL your Benefits as a Woman, and more! 1 Wellness Room, 3 Inspirational Keynote Speakers, a social, jam session, bonfire and closing brunch.
The Wellness Room was a safe calming space to relax, learn, decompress and also register for a short reiki session or massage! A perfect full moon on a beautiful weather night provided a great backdrop to our bonfire camaraderie.
